Refine Collective’s pop-up vendor markets are more than just an opportunity to shop small, but are community-focused bazaars for people of all walks-of-life to connect while having a damn good time!

We pride ourselves in curating vendor market experiences that are accessible and welcoming to all women & minority-owned business, regardless of tenure or experience to participate. From furniture to apothecary, florals to streetwear, you can find high-quality unique goodies for anyone while vibing to the sounds of some of Chicago’s hottest DJs and entertainers.

  • 4th annual juneteenth freedom market

    we gathered over 60 black-owned businesses and over 3,200 guests for a celebration of black creativity & entrepreneurship at the salt shed!

  • 3rd annual maker mall

    Maker Mall is a free community-focused bazaar focused on showcasing products from women and/or POC-identifying makers to fill holiday shopping needs. In 2023, Maker Mall visited two unique venues in Chicago: Salon.lb (an art gallery in Bridgeport) and the Salt Shed. Between these two editions, we brought together nearly 100 local businesses and three full days of opportunity for Chicagoans to shop small and local in advance of the holidays.     back & bigger, we gathered over 50 black-owned businesses and over 900 guests for a celebration of black creativity & entrepreneurship at the museum of contemporary art chicago!

  • 2nd annual planet her

    Back for a second year in celebration of Women’s History Month, PLANET HER san out-of-this-world, community-focused night bazaar, celebrating all things SHE held at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.

    It was a beautiful evening filled with shopping, live music, live art, & all of the makings of a beautiful celebration!

    As part of planet her 2023, we partnered with the incredible lululemon Chicago crew to create a moment for our participating businesses, artists, and entertainers to connect and enjoy a night of self-care & connection ahead of the big day. ⁠

  • ‘how she built this’ panel & mini market, powered by footlocker chicago

    How She built This returned for a third time as a panel & mini market conversation with local women entrepreneurs in Chicago. The event included a portrait booth, mocktail bar, and thoughtful conversation on all-things entrepreneurship!

  • black history month market at zo clubhouse

    ZO Clubhouse invited us to curate & produce a market for Black History Month in their corporate office space. including 13 black-owned businesses, this was a pleasant work break for the tenants in this downtown building to shop from local Black-owned businesses!

  • 2nd annual maker mall tour (chi & dc!)

    Maker Mall toured across 2 venues in Chicago (Soho House & Thalia Hall) and one in D.C. (The Line Hotel) for a multi-day holiday bazaar. We re so proud to have generated over $80,000 in revenue by 60+ women & minority-owned small creative businesses across 3-stop event tour, welcoming over 2,100 event goers join us this year!.

    In celebration of Earth Day, we hosted “Grounded”, an evening of wellness with our friends at The Chicago Athletic Hotel. Starting with a 45-minute yoga flow with Undone by Paige, followed by a pop-up market with Semillas Plant Studio, embrh, and At Humans, Frogtown juice Co, and uncooked — it was an evening to remember!

    Refine Collective presented Planet Her, an out-of-this world, community- focused bazaar celebrating all things SHE, taking place at Garfield Park Conservatory featuring over 50 Chicago-based women makers and artists in celebration of Women’s History Month. With over 800 attendees, this event was a beautiful celebration!

    In celebration of Small Business Saturday, Refine Collective partnered with Soho House Chicago for Maker Mall, a sprawling Bazaar with over 30 woman & minority small biz makers & creators. Over 1,000 attendees joined this 5-hour event!

    In celebration of Juneteenth, Refine Collective hosted the freedom market at the Ace Hotel Chicago. The event was a community-focused bazaar, bringing together 20 black-owned businesses for an evening of togetherness & joy.
